Florida Statewide Property Inspections

Before the papers are signed on a home or commercial building purchase, a thorough, objective inspection and analysis is necessary to give the buyer a good understanding about the home’s systems and components.

Florida property inspections should be a visual, non-destructive examination of the systems and structure of a home, from the roof to the foundation, from wall to wall, from plumbing to electrical.

Florida inspections and analysis should be done on:

  • new homes
  • existing homes
  • commercial properties
  • mobile homes
  • seasonal homes

Although Florida statewide property inspections are not a warranty against existing problems with a property, if an issue is discovered, the inspector recommends further examination and action.

What Do Florida Inspections Cover

Florida property inspections should examine everything inside and outside of the home, both physical and structural. Specifically, the Florida inspection should examine:

  • Site damage
  • Walls and fences
  • Crawl spaces and roves
  • Electrical and plumbing systems
  • Exterior and landscaping
  • Heating and air conditioning
  • Fire places and chimneys
  • Porches and decks
  • Appliances
  • And more
